Why it matters

More than just filling in a form

A company tax return is built on accurate year-end accounts: reconciled balances, depreciation, stock, accruals, director loans and dividends. Get those wrong and you can pay too much tax – or trigger problems like unintended Division 7A deemed dividends.

Because we often keep the books too, your year-end is faster, cheaper and more accurate.

FAQ

Company tax returns: your questions answered

Ask us directly
When is my company tax return due?

Due dates depend on your company's size and lodgement history. Companies on a registered tax agent's list usually receive later due dates under the ATO lodgement program. We'll confirm your exact date when you join.

What is Division 7A?

Division 7A is a set of tax rules that can treat loans, payments or debt forgiveness from a private company to its shareholders (or their associates) as unfranked dividends. We review director loan accounts every year and help put complying loan agreements in place where needed.

Can you do my personal return as well?

Yes. We prepare returns for directors, family trusts and individuals so the whole group is planned together.

Do you prepare financial statements?

Yes. Every company package includes year-end financial statements suitable for directors, banks and lenders.
